Business and Accounting
Students at the Charlotte Culinary Institute benefit from small class sizes and hands-on instruction from experienced chefs. In addition to culinary training, The Art Institute of Charlotte also provides students with a well-rounded education in business management, marketing, and entrepreneurship. This comprehensive approach prepares graduates for careers not only as chefs but also as culinary entrepreneurs or food industry professionals.

Established in 1997, this holistic program not only provides job readiness training. It also prepares the mind and body to help students be the best version of themselves. American Culinary Federation designation of Certified Pastry Culinarian may be available to graduates. Certification through the American Culinary Federation demonstrates skill, knowledge, and professionalism to the food service industry.
Each student group’s demands are considered while creating the standard classes. In every one of the classes, they ask the students why they are there and make sure they leave prepared to pursue their objectives. Students frequently tell them that they seek a school that provides a variety of classes without requiring a long-term commitment. The Workforce Training program at CCSC offers an innovative response to the interconnected issues of homelessness, hunger, and unemployment. Located just outside of Charlotte in Greenville, South Carolina, the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas is worth mentioning for its proximity and reputation. This culinary school offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of culinary arts, including classical cooking techniques, international cuisine, pastry arts, and more. Johnson & Wales University is renowned for its culinary arts program and has a campus located right in Charlotte.
Many of their students have jobs outside of baking, which serves as their creative outlet. Some people want to change occupations, polish their current abilities, or learn something new. The institution also provides a program for potential restaurant entrepreneurs if you’ve always desired to start your own business. In addition to classes, free elective credit can be applied to a number of options such as Directed Experiential Education (DEE), internship, minor or study abroad.
